John Sleight

Well let's see. After BHS I went up to Rock Island and joined the local police dept for a few years and went to Black Hawk Jr. College with Bruce Raney, Chris Martinson and Jeff Oehler (Normal HS class of 1970). Towards the end of Vietnam, I enlisted in the Air Force and spent time in scenic Minot, ND and then finished up my enlisted time in Jolly ole' England. Went back to school (Univ of Nebraska-Omaha) and after graduation re-entered the Air Force thru Officer Training School and went on to fly Special Operations MC-130s. Traveled throughout the world and eventually served over 31 years. Retired from the Air Force in 2004, and currently live in picturesque southern New Hampshire. My wife is also from this area so the inevitable draw....We have five children(all off starting their own families) four Grandkids and two Australian Shepards... I work for a global defense contractor peddling services throughout the world. A second retirement beckons near.........
