John Sleight

Well let's see. After BHS I went up to Rock Island and joined the local police dept for a few years and went to Black Hawk Jr. College with Bruce Raney, Chris Martinson and Jeff Oehler (Normal HS class of 1970). Towards the end of Vietnam, I enlisted in the Air Force and spent time in scenic Minot, ND and then finished up my enlisted time in Jolly ole' England. Went back to school (Univ of Nebraska-Omaha) and after graduation re-entered the Air Force thru Officer Training School and went on to fly Special Operations MC-130s. Traveled throughout the world and eventually served over 30 years. Retired from the Air Force in 2004, and currently live in the picturesque New Hampshire SeaCoast area. My wife is also from this area so the inevitable draw....We have five children(all off starting their own families) five Grandkids and two Australian Shepards...
