George Ferguson

2011 has been a hectic year for the Ferguson's. It started with prostate cancer for me; then house remodeling; then our oldest granddaughter moving in with her 1 year old son.

My relief was to take a 5,000 mile "ride-about" on the first "non-Harley" I've owned in over 20 years. It was a great ride with a few mishaps, like getting t-boned by a deer in Montana. Fortunately, God was good to me and the deer lost. It made a great evangelistic tool (for those who know what I mean).

We're looking forward to the New Year with new opportunities and challenges. It's what keeps us going. Life would be very dull if it were all picture perfect. Don't you agree?

2019 - We have now been "on the road" for a little over three years. We sold everything in Bloomington and now live in a motorhome travelling the country. We have come to realize life without "stuff" can be very freeing.

2021 - Well, we have been "grounded" and assuming the role of "caretakers" for my father-in-law for the last couple of years in Yuma, Arizona. It's a wonderful place to winter, but it is hell on earth in the summer with temperatures consistently in the 110+ degree range and no clouds or rain. All is good though with God blessing us in many ways down here. We live in a beautiful 55+ RV community with all the amenities and have made many good friends.
