Calvin was a great guy. We attended grade school at Lincoln School. We went from there to BJHS & BHS. We were in so many classes together it us hard to count. His passing is very sad, like loosing a part of growing up. My deepest sympathy to all his family and loved ones.

Really sorry to hear of Calvin's passing.  I remember well that cannon he made, it was awesome.  I worked summers at Corn Belt and remember the summer he and Larry Young came to work there.  My condolences to his family and friends.  Another good guy gone too soon.

So sad to hear of Calvin passing away.  I likewise am a Lincoln school Alumni and grew up just a block from Calvin's home.  We were friends from Lincoln thru BHS.  Later we crossed paths once in Bloomington after he got out of the Marines and after my first 4 years in the AF.  I enjoyed sharing stories with him of growing up and subsequent military life.  A great friend, gone to soon!  RIP Calvin.

Another South Hill/Lincoln school alumnus gone!  Calvin was in my Cub Scout troop along with being my classmate.  Funny how things changed since the time we spent together in elementary school but I don't remember ever being in a class with Calvin in Junior or Senior highschool! Weird, huh?

Calvin was easy going and an extremely nice person. I'm sure his family misses him a great deal.
