Gary Alan Mitchell died at his home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 14, 2003.

He was born May 15, 1952 in Bloomington, Illinois a son of Loren and Carolyn Carr Mitchell.

He married Jean Meyer on May 10, 2002 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 

Surviving are his wife; his mother; two sons, James (Susanna) Mitchell and Jason Mitchell; one grandson; three stepgrandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; four brothes, Loren Douglas (Sylvia) Mitchell, James Edward (Karen) Mitchell, Fred Robert Mitchell and Jeffrey Scott (Susan) Mitchell; and two sisters, Linda Jane (Thomas) Ricker and Gail Margaret Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Phillip Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1975. He was a graduate of Bloomington High School and a graduate of Progress Technical College at West Carlton, Ohio 
and of the Milwaukee Area Technical College. 

He owned and operated Air Mitchell Heating & Cooling in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
