"Billy" and I grew up in Holton Homes together. As little kids we hunted snakes and did all the fun stuff little kids did back then. After BHS we went our different ways but got to visit at the 20th class reunion. What a great guy.

I first met Bill in BJHS or BHS and we became good friends. We both had 1960-era Honda 50 scooters that we used to putt around together on the streets of Bloomington. Later we did so on larger bikes. Even though our lives took different paths with me spending a career in the Air Force and retiring in NM, we kept in touch over the years and got together whenever I visited Bloomington. I always enjoyed catching up on our lives with Bill while going out to eat, shooting pool or just hanging out. I will miss those fun times we shared over the years. RIP Bill.

After the reunion tour of the high school several of us were admiring this hot car in the parking lot, when up walks Bill to show us the finer features uf his new Mustang. It was great to see him after all these years. We and Joe Spidle were in Boy Scouts together and enjoyed (or suffered through) many a muddy hike and campout.
